Hi! I'm Derek, a small game dev with big dreams. I don't want to drag this too long, so I'll keep it short and sweet. My whole coding adventure started with robots, specifically R2-D2 (From Star Wars), and I had gotten a robot, completely customizable, and learned to code it.
About a year after I got the robot, I got Cosmo, a little white robot that fit in the palm of your hand. Cosmo really got me into coding up until sixth grade, where I learned about scratch.
When I learned about Scratch, I didn’t think much of it, there were some cool community created games as far as I was concerned, but a year later, I began the original version of my first game (as a joke…).
Another year later, my “joke” became less of a joke, as I began working on the current version of my game, it had become real to me.
Recently, I began messing with effects, new code, detailed animations, ai, face detection, and a lot more, however, one of my biggest fears from the start was that I would never get noticed. One of my favorite quotes is a quote from Walt Disney, he said "Keep moving Forward."
